Steal An Egg

New here? This is the whole site from a player's point of view, start to finish. It takes about two minutes to read and saves you from the classic mistakes.

1. Look around without an account

You don't need to log in to browse. Every pet has its own page with its income, egg, hatch time, first-hatch reward and what it makes with each mutation. The trade calculator works for everyone too: put in both sides of a trade and it tells you if it's fair, if you're overpaying, or if you're getting the better end.

2. Log in with Roblox

Trading needs an account, and the only way in is your Roblox account. You sign in on roblox.com, so we never see your password. Roblox tells us your user ID, username, display name and avatar, and that's your profile here. Your trader name is always your real Roblox name, which means the player you meet in game is the same one you talked to here.

3. Set up your profile

On your account page you can:

  • pick an avatar pet or keep your Roblox headshot,
  • write a short bio (200 characters, no links), like what you collect or when you're online,
  • show your country flag,
  • fill your wishlist by tapping the heart on any pet page, so traders know what you're after.

4. Post a trade

Tap Post in the bottom bar (or Post a trade on the trade center). Add up to 9 pets you'd give and up to 9 you want, set the mutation on each, add a note if you like, and post. You can have 20 open trades at once and post 15 a day. Close or delete a trade from your account page whenever you want.

5. Make and get offers

See something you like on the trade board? Tap Make offer and add a short message. When someone offers on your trade you get a notification, and you see their trade record next to the offer: finished trades, problem reports, how old their Roblox account is and which Steal An Egg badges they have. Use the chat button if you want to talk it over first.

6. Chat

Messages live under the 💬 icon. Links are removed automatically, and you can block or report anyone from the chat. Nobody here will ever need your password or a login code. If someone asks, report them.

7. Accept and swap

When you accept an offer, your trade closes and a swap page opens for both of you. It compares your records and says who should give first. You then have 30 minutes to meet in the same Steal An Egg server and use the Give button for your side. Big trade? Do it in small steps.

8. Confirm

Back on the swap page, each of you presses I got my pets or I didn't get them. Two "got" answers finish the trade right away and it counts on both records. If something went wrong you both get 24 more hours to sort it out: the other player can still give the missing pet, and you press They fixed it. A report that still stands after that becomes a problem report on their profile. 3 reports bring a warning, 5 block the player from trading here.

9. Notifications

The 🔔 bell shows offers, swap updates and new pets. Turn on phone notifications from your account page to get them even when the site is closed. On iPhone, add the site to your Home Screen first. You choose which kinds you want.

10. Leaving

Sign out from your account page any time. If you want to go for good, Delete account at the bottom of the account page wipes your profile, trades, offers, wishlist, chats, notifications and sessions straight away. Sign in again later and you start as a brand-new trader.
